It is a dirty job but someone has to do it!
They came from the lighthouses when the call went out. Ordinary men and women with a heartfelt commitment to Nenagh Hospital. They have run card games, race nites, cake sales, tea dances, fancy dresses, wine tasting nights, pub quizzes, karaoke nites, music nites, coffee mornings, auction nights, teenage discos to name but a few. In December we had a very special helper in the guise of Santa with Jimmy and Prince.
The foot soldiers have knocked on doors, sold tickets, horses, Christmas decorations, apples even. They are too numerous to mention but they are all special and without them the "Small Hospital Big Service" report would be still a dream. So I thank them one and all on your behalf.
Now the report is in print there is much yet to be done, and we still need to raise funds to cover costs preparation, printing and distribution etc. so the fundraising goes on.
If you have an idea, if you can run and event big or small we still need you. Members of the Fund Raising Group are on hand to help where they can just get in touch please we would love to hear from you.
